Fall Meeting in Boston Breaks Attendance Records
ANNAs 2006 Fall Meeting for Nephrology Nurse Managers, Advanced Practice Nurses, and Clinicians was a resounding success with over 750 attendees, a full exhibit hall, and extensive corporate support. Held September 22-24, 2006, at the Westin Boston Waterfront in Boston, the meeting was packed with educational programs, inspirational speakers, networking opportunities, and corporate-sponsored events. Nephrology Nursing Journal Issue Highlights

National ESRD Education Week
August 6-10, 2007
ESRD Education Week is an ongoing campaign to educate state and federal lawmakers about end stage renal disease (ESRD), dialysis and the legislative issues facing the renal community. This award-winning initiative has helped to improve care for patients through key legislation. In 2006, ANNA members met with 79 lawmakers and/or their aides at facilities in 27 states. In addition, 16 lawmakers are planning visits later this year.

National Nephrology Nurses Week

ANNA has designated the second full week in September each year as National Nephrology Nurses Week. Employers and others may take this opportunity to recognize and reward nephrology nurses for their work and dedication.
