Christine Mudge Appointed to Nephrology Nursing Journal Editorial Board

PITMAN, NJ – Christine Mudge, MS, RN, PNPc, FAAN, CNN, of Mill Valley, California has been appointed to the Nephrology Nursing Journal Editorial Board, effective immediately.



Ms. Mudge is the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in hepatology/nephrology and pediatric transplantation at the University of California at San Francisco (UCSF). She also serves as Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF and has held numerous past positions within the American Nephrology Nurses’ Association (ANNA), including Western Region Vice President and National Symposium Advisor.


Christine is a valuable addition to our Editorial Board, commented Editor Beth Ulrich, EdD, RN, CHE. She is well respected within ANNA for her many past contributions, and brings valuable expertise in the areas of pediatrics and transplantation to our journal.



Christine is also a noted past author for nephrology publications such as the American Journal of Kidney Diseases and Mosby’s Clinical Nursing Series, and was a co-author on the transplantation chapter in ANNA’s Contemporary Nephrology Nursing (1998). She is a frequent presenter on nephrology, transplant, and pediatrics topics at national meetings throughout the United States.



Nephrology Nursing Journal is a refereed clinical and scientific resource that provides current information on a wide variety of subjects to facilitate the practice of professional nephrology nursing. Nephrology Nursing Journal is the official publication of ANNA.
