Nephrology Nurses WeekTo honor the dedicated nurses who care for patients with kidney disease, ANNA has designated the second full week in September as Nephrology Nurses Week. Nephrology Nurses Week gives employers, patients, and others the opportunity to thank nephrology nurses for their life-saving work.

Each month ANNA offers a FREE continuing nursing education (CNE) program in ANNA’s Online Library. This special offer is available to ANNA members only! This month's featured session, "Mastering Precepting," was originally offered at the 2013 National Symposium in Las Vegas. Presented by Beth Ulrich, EdD, RN, FACHE, FAAN, this session focuses on the role of a preceptor and strategies and techniques of precepting.

ANNA's 45th National Symposium will be held April 19-22, 2015, at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, FL. The National Program Committee has issued a Call for Abstracts for the symposium.

Nominate a deserving colleague for one of many Outstanding Achievement Awards, which recognize achievement in areas such as leadership development, clinical practice, education, management, patient care, research, and collaboration. ANNA's accredited approver unit, known as the Continuing Education Approval Board (CEAB), is a standing committee of the Association. CEAB reviews applications for continuing nursing education (CNE) and must adhere to the policies, procedures, and CNE criteria of the accrediting body, American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation (ANCC-COA).
