Dear Dr. Goldman and Ms. Harbert:
On behalf of the American Nephrology Nurses Association, we are pleased to respond to your April 1, 2005 letter requesting our organizations endorsement of the Executive Summary of the Position Paper on Involuntary Discharge as presented and prepared by the National Task Force on Decreasing Dialysis Patient-Provider Conflict.
ANNA wishes to extend our recognition and appreciation to you and the members of the Task Force for the work you have done on this issue that is so important for our specialty.

We are pleased to inform you that the ANNA Board of Directors has voted to endorse the Executive Summary and Position Statement. Further, ANNA intends to publish the Executive Summary in our next ANNA e-newsletter, post it on our Web site, and to use it, when appropriate, to educate our members.
Please continue to keep ANNA informed of any additional work that is being conducted in this area and we appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with you in additional efforts to decrease conflict in the dialysis centers.
Very truly yours,
