Pitman, NJ – The many facets of nephrology nursing call for customized education and ongoing education. The American Nephrology Nurses Association (ANNA) Fall Meeting, slated for October 8-10, in San Diego, CA, will offer the latest information categorized into five tracks to help nurses explore new areas within the specialty while honing their skills and expanding their knowledge in their current practice areas.

The tracks are designated as Advanced Practice, Management/Leadership, Nursing Practice Potpourri, “Hot” Topic, and Pharmacology. All sessions will be presented by top experts and span the broad and challenging range of the nephrology nursing specialty.

“The Fall Meeting is one of the most hands-on, practical ways of helping nephrology nurses improve their skills and energize their careers,” said ANNA President Sheila Doss-McQuitty, MBA, BSN, CNN, CCRA. “It’s not always easy to find a new direction or get to the next level, but this conference can help nurses do exactly that. We’ve had attendees tell us that for them, it’s been a game-changer.”

At the conference, nurses can earn up to 11.5 continuing nursing education (CNE) contact hours plus up to 7.5 contact hours for optional workshops. Also available will be up to 4.0 pharmacology hours and 6.0 hours for optional workshops.

ANNA ensures a well-rounded conference experience for attendees by offering plenty of networking opportunities, a dynamic exhibit hall, special events, and time to explore the beauty and attractions of sunny San Diego.

Full information is available on the Fall Meeting home page including details on the program, general information, hotel and travel, and online registration.
