The results of the national ANNA election have been finalized. Lillian Pryor, MSN, RN, CNN, of Lawrenceville, GA, was elected to serve as ANNA President-Elect, and Sara Kennedy, BSN, RN, CNNe, of Hoover, AL, was elected as Treasurer. Barbara Odom, BSN, RN, CDN, of Northport, AL, was elected to serve as Director.
On November 8, 2018, ANNA celebrated 2 years of collaboration with other kidney care and dialysis organizations as a partner of the Making Dialysis Safer for Patients Coalition.
Recognizing the importance of palliative and end-of-life (EOL) care within nephrology nursing practice, ANNA has issued a position statement entitled "Nephrology Nurse’s Role in Palliative and End-of-Life Care."
