Recognizing the importance of palliative and end-of-life (EOL) care within nephrology nursing practice, ANNA has issued a position statement entitled "Nephrology Nurse’s Role in Palliative and End-of-Life Care." The statement provides nurses caring for persons with chronic kidney disease information and guidelines related to palliative and EOL care.
