Call for Experts for Study to Improve Organ Procurement and Allocation: Apply by September 18, 2020

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) is seeking experts to serve on a study to identify opportunities to improve deceased donor organ procurement, allocation, and organ distribution to wait list recipients. The study is sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and was congressionally requested. NASEM is seeking nominations of experts in the fields of organ donation, organ acquisition, organ procurement, organ allocation, organ distribution, transplant surgery, health care, ethics, public health, law and regulations, statistics, modelling and simulation, clinical research, recipient and donor perspectives, health economics, transplant finance, and supply chain procurement.
