Founded in 1971, Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is the nation’s largest non-profit dialysis provider with over 230 outpatient dialysis clinics in 28 states. Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, DCI employs approximately 5,000 people serving more than 19,000 people with kidney disease. DCI’s services include in-center hemodialysis, in-center self-care hemodialysis, home hemodialysis, Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD), and Continuous Cycling Peritoneal Dialysis (CCPD). DCI also provides dialysis in hospitals around the U.S.

DCI created REACH Kidney Care to serve individuals in the chronic kidney disease stages. The goal of REACH is to delay or prevent dialysis. If someone must transition into dialysis, REACH ensures they are prepared for the treatment option of their choice. Every effort is made to assist with a pre-emptive transplant.

Based on the United States Renal Data System (USRDS) report for the past 13 years, among the large dialysis organizations, Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) continues to have the lowest standardized hospitalization ratios (SHRs) and standardized mortality ratios (SMRs).
