To better understand nephrology nurses’ mental health and general well-being in the workplace, ANNA is conducting a research study using an online survey to help determine the current needs of nephrology nurses in the workplace. Based on survey responses, ANNA plans to identify and provide resources to support nephrology nurses' mental health and general well-being. If you would like to participate, please complete the survey by August 14, 2020.

Each month ANNA offers a FREE continuing nursing education (CNE) program in the ANNA Online Library. This month’s featured program is “Gut Microbiome: How the Gut Affects the Kidney.” Originally offered at the 2019 National Symposium in Dallas, this session explores the connection between the gut microbiome and kidney disease complications and progression, and reviews interventions targeting the gut microbiome for therapeutic purposes.

She will discuss the "Impact of COVID-19 on Nephrology Nurses." Hosted by the Rogosin Institute, this free educational program is scheduled for 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on September 17, 2020.
