What’s clear from these conversations is that nephrology is often an overlooked area in many nursing school curricula, meaning students may not be exposed to it at all. That’s why it’s so important for us to continue raising awareness about nephrology and the role ANNA plays in supporting this vital specialty. There’s still work to be done—and it starts with education and exposure. We all need to do our part to help shine a light on nephrology and inspire the next generation of nurses to explore this rewarding and impactful field.
