This summer, we’re inviting you to slow down, curl up with a good book, and connect with your fellow nephrology nurses through ANNA’s Summer Book Club! We’ll all be reading The Shift by Theresa Brown—a compelling, real-time account of a day in the life of a hospital nurse. Whether you finish the whole book or only make it through a few pages, you’re welcome in the conversation.

We’ll come together for a one-time, virtual book discussion on Sunday, September 7 at 7:00 pm ET via Zoom.

Bring your favorite drink, a cozy snack, and come as you are! ANNA President Dr. Faith Lynch will be joining us for the discussion, and everyone who attends and stays until the end will receive a coupon for one free contact hour session in ANNA’s Online Library.

There’s no cost to participate—just a shared love of learning and reflection. You can purchase the book from your favorite bookstore or explore free borrowing options through your local library. Many libraries offer digital access via apps like l and Hoopla, making it easy to read or listen from your phone or tablet.
