Continuing Education Alignment
All ANNA Microcredentials are structured to align with ANCC continuing education standards.
Participants earn contact hours based on the duration and complexity of each module, ensuring both compliance and meaningful professional value.
Available Microcredentials:
CKD Microcredential
The CKD microcredential prepares nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care for individuals with chronic kidney disease (CKD) across the continuum from early identification and risk reduction through kidney replacement therapies, supportive care, and pediatric considerations. Emphasis is placed on clinical knowledge, interdisciplinary collaboration, psychosocial support, health promotion, and advocacy to optimize outcomes for patients and families.
Key areas of focus include:
- Patient education and advocacy
- Stages of CKD
- Health promotion and preventive care
- Dialysis modalities and transplant
- Advancing kidney failure and conservative management
- Pediatric CKD
This microcredential is designed for nursing and healthcare team members at novice to intermediate levels of professional practice.
