Empowering Nephrology Nurses: Introducing ANNA Microcredentials

The American Nephrology Nurses Association (ANNA) is launching a new way to support professional growth and recognize specialized expertise: ANNA Microcredentials.

This new program offers focused, competency-based learning designed to help nephrology nurses build skills, demonstrate knowledge, and advance their practice on a flexible schedule.

Now Available: CKD Microcredential

The first offering, the CKD Microcredential, prepares nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care across the continuum of chronic kidney disease.

Designed for novice to intermediate practitioners, this program covers essential topics including patient education, CKD progression, treatment options, and supportive care, while aligning with ANCC contact hour requirements.

Coming Soon

A Palliative Care Microcredential is currently in development and is expected in spring or summer 2026.

ANNA Microcredentials provide a practical, flexible way to build expertise and advance your career in nephrology nursing.
