| ASCEND: Developing the Next Generation of Nephrology Nurse Leaders The ASCEND Leadership Academy is a new ANNA initiative designed to prepare and empower the next generation of nephrology nurse leaders. This 12-month leadership development experience will provide the inaugural cohort of eight participants with experienced mentors, leadership education, coaching, networking, and hands-on learning, culminating in a capstone project presented at the 2027 Nephrology Nursing Summit.
