Nursing Community Coalition Thanks House Nursing Caucus Co-Chairs for Introducing the ICAN Act
The Nursing Community Coalition thanked the House Nursing Congress Co-Chairs – Representatives Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA-40) and David Joyce (R-OH-14) – for introducing the Improving Care and Access to Nurses (I CAN) Act (H.R. 8812). This legislation supports the removal of outdated barriers in the Medicare and Medicaid programs that currently prevent advanced practice registered nurses from practicing to the full extent of their education and clinical training.
