ANNA introduced the Feed Your Kidneys program as a new way for chapters to celebrate Nephrology Nurses Week in September, which is also Hunger Action Month. Through this intitiative, ANNA funded 11 grants of $1,500 each for ANNA chapters to donate to local food banks during Nephrology Nurses Week (September 11-17). In addition, ANNA chapter members will be supporting and feeding their communities throughout the month of September by volunteering at local food banks, shopping for food, packing and delivering meals, and much more!
