Nursing Community Coalition Reinforces COVID-19 Priorities to Congressional Leaders
The Nursing Community Coalition requests Congress consider the following COVID-19 priorities be included in any pandemic legislative relief package before the end of the 116th Congress:
- Protect and Support Nurses and APRNs on the Frontlines
- Increase Funding for Title VIII Nursing Workforce Development Programs
- Support Nursing Education Infrastructure: Pass the Future Advancement of Academic Nursing (FAAN) Act (S.4396/H.R.7945)
- Strengthen Investments in Public Health
- Invest in Nursing Research
- Promote Access to Telehealth
